Well, the new job is absolutely awsome! JWT has to be the best place that I have ever worked in my life! I've been posting regular updates on
my MySpace blog almost daily, so check 'em out.
I appologize for the lack of comic updates lately. I haven't even really had much time to sketch with this new job. My day starts at 6am and I don't get home until 6:30pm (an hour and a half drive to Detroit every day...the worst part of my job, I might add). But the job overall is worth it. I get to go to Pistons games for free, I get to consume coffee and food at work, and I don't have to stand for hours at a time with a supervisor constantly looking over my shoulder and attempting to correct me in a job that he himself doesn't understand.
I've been updating G-Man here and there, but nothing regular just yet. Give me a month, and I'll start updating them on a regular basis. Also, I've been encouraged to start adding new comic content, which means either new G-Man comics (you'll just have to endure the fact that the originals aren't finished yet), and / or @$$hole. I've had a few great ideas for @$$hole lately, but have yet to commit them to paper. Once I get into a set schedule and get used to my new job, I think regular updates will become easier.
In the meantime, bear with me, read my Myspace blog, and leave me comments on my MySpace page or in the Exile forum. Later!
I've been spending the last few days sketching and getting ready to start new projects. I'll start posting some of the sketches in the Sketches section, once I get some more done. I've redesigned Shiri's hair, and done a few preliminary designs for Tojin Abraham and the new nemesis for the Temple prequel. I'm also doing some background design work for the Temple sequel.
Bascially, I'm just waiting to start my new job on Monday. In the meantime, everything else is just kind of helping to keep my boredom to a minimum until the week ends.
It looks like Scott and Carl are starting to get things moving over at the Exile site, but I'm not sure how much longer they need before they're ready to restart their projects. Whenever it is, I told them that I'd be ready and willing to help out! I kind of miss working on Exile, since I always used it as a challenge for either design / layout / coloring.
I might try to do some guest strips for a few people, too. I have yet to ask anyone, so I won't drop names until everything's set and ready. I'll keep you all informed.
